Boost Your Immunity

Your immune system is your #1 defence against sickness and disease. It is the basis of our health. A strong immune system is so very important to each and every one of us. Your immune system is the system in the body that works to ward off infection and disease. Central to this system are the white blood cells. Some white blood cells produce antibodies in response to specific antigens that may invade the body; others function as scavengers to fight infection by destroying bacteria and removing dead cells.

There are some simple steps to take build and keep a strong immune system working for you. Immune building can start before birth if the expectant Mom eats certain foods and follows the list of ideas below to help the baby start life off with a strong immune system.

Sugar - refined sugar is your immune systems worst enemy!

For for information, advice and support you could talk to your family Doctor, Nutritionist/Dietitian and/or Naturopathic Doctor. Always be careful taking something new and look out for unknown allergies.
